Having learned the craft of coach and carriage building in America for over 10 years, Peter Holmes returned to Glasgow in 1879 and established: Peter Holmes Carriage Builders. Becoming the first carriage company in Scotland to build the “Stanhope Wagonette”.

The family legacy continues today crafting and sharing the finest Kentucky Straight Rye & Bourbon Whiskey, distilled and aged in American white oak casks in Owensboro, Kentucky.

We will be offering a tasting of our Rye and Bourbon - this will be an opportunity to learn more about our brand and its connections between Scotland and America.
